Iris (or Wil) is a digital designer and all-round nerd working in web technologies, programming and motion design. Their work centers around data, queer and social psychologies, and digital worlds. When they're not designing they make music, games and other techy things.
The Think+DO Tank Foundation Impact Tool is an online interactive data visualisation tool built in collaboration with Dimpal Makwana, Eloise Myatt and Jane Hoang. It showcases the efforts of Think+DO Tank, a not-for-profit working with marginalised communities. It shows live data and testimonials, acting as an accountability and promotional tool for the foundation. Ground Zero is an exploration of nuclear anxiety through publication design. Pulling articles and stories speaking to humanity in various proximities to nuclear conflict arranged by the DEFCON US military threat scale, it aims to survive, caution, and hold accountable nuclear warfare. Darkness Full of Light is a speculative animated title sequence based on the short story of the same name by Tony Dietz. Beyond motion design, I aimed to showcase the world of the story, from custom typefaces, to symbolism and iconography.
