Su Wing Tang is a Hong Kong-born creative based in Sydney. She has a keen interest in developing innovative and ethical solutions for print, digital platforms and identity. She would like to work motivated by the understanding that design is always in service to something else.
‘Drift’ is a typographic magazine informed by experiences of migration. This publication explores the process of the familiar becoming unfamiliar (and vice versa), as manifested in the changing relationship between an individual and their typographic landscape consequent of migration. ‘Say it!’ is a tool kit aimed at reinforcing learning on body and cyber-safety for children aged 6-8 years old. It is accompanied by a publication to inform educators and caregivers of the severity of this situation – promoting awareness of child sexual abuse in Australia through data visualisation and prompting actions of prevention through education. Add 20 is a campaign designed to help drivers aged 18-25 avoid driver fatigue. It reminds them to plan ahead and add twenty minutes to their trip so they can rest. This project is in response to a live brief issued by Re:act, in partnership with Hard Edge, UTS and Transport for NSW.
