Michelle Nguyen is an emerging designer specialising in motion design and illustration. She loves to bring images to life, whether it be through vibrant imagery or animation. Michelle hopes to continue designing for worthwhile causes that will have positive impacts on our future.
The 50 Fanfares Projects brings together the patrons and composers of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra through their mutual love and appreciation for orchestral and classical music. This promotional video elevates the notions of connection and community by putting the composers at the forefront. The Most Beautiful Voyage in the World explores the beauty and tragedy of a future where people live too long, climate change has destroyed cities, and relationships never last. This title sequence uses paper flowers as a metaphor for the fragility of life, taking on a solemn and quiet tone. Spellbound is a brand that prides itself on its abilities to bewitch and enchant its consumers. This drink is floral and delicious, meant for those who are new to gin. The pastel visuals were chosen to challenge the negative perceptions of the witchery lifestyle. This gin bottle won’t hurt you, it is simply a beverage meant to welcome positive spirits. The Northern Rives Community Legal Centre values community and compassion, which has been captured in their volunteer campaign. This campaign aims to show students the value of volunteering with NRCLC. This project was a collaboration between Alex Shute, Michelle Nguyen, Wendy Trinh, Hyeonjeong Erin Yuk, Emi Chiba and NRCLC.
