Jessie is a visual communicator and creative thinker based in Sydney. Inspired by the world around her, she creates works that are a balance of function and aesthetics. She believes human-centered design drives meaningful outcomes and should leave a lasting impression on the viewer. She is also 5’1” tall and uses baking as a form of therapy.
A speculative project exploring the social responsibilities and protocols of citizens in an ‘Energy Hub’. A reimagination of communities after the energy transition and a prototype of a website that citizens would interact with to learn about their new lifestyle and ‘Hub’. A visualisation of the percentage of women in executive leadership in Australia from the last 3 years. Mapping out the ASX 200 utilising type, colour and repetition to highlight the slow progress to gender equality in leadership. A two-part examination of women in leadership highlighting the multi-faceted complexities of gender dynamics in the workplace. Part One reveals the ever-present systemic gender inequality in the modern work force. On the other side, Part Two explores the strengths of female leadership and the multitude of benefits they bring to the table. A branding extension of the ‘Seat At The Table’ publication. A call to action campaign challenging the deeply imbedded stereotypes surrounding women in leadership, offsetting the serious tone of the topic with bold colour and visuals.
