My name is Caitlin, and I’m a graphic designer with a passion for branding and print design. I believe authentic design can shift perspectives and even change lives. I’m inspired by complexity in simplicity: how a minimal but thoughtful design can contain layers of meaning and depth.
In creating a brand identity for the educational resource Stream, I contemplated the beauty of learning: how we will always experience that ‘Aha!’ moment when we remain open to the new and unfamiliar. I developed a colour and icon system that reflects this spark of joy while still remaining accessible to students and teachers alike. We collaborated with the Australian Milling Museum to create two photographic publications celebrating Australia’s milling heritage. The design of the coffee-table books echoes the details contained in these photographs, uncovering the milling industry’s indelible connection to our lives today.
